Absolutely amazing hike in one of
the most beautiful areas of the Sierra Nevada National &
Nature Park; truly a hidden treasure off the beaten path
in midst of breathtaking mountain scenery.
From arid, semi-desert "moon-landscapes" to lush river
vegetation, from rugged and jagged mountain ridges to
deep canyons and steep rock faces, from barren badlands
to green pine tree forests, all with snow-clad mountain
tops as a backdrop throughout most of the year; this
trail really has it all.
Most likely we'll also be able to
spot wildlife like wild
Iberian Ibex, eagles or foxes.
Please inquire about your dates
(only Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays).
Note 1: Our hike will take us by a stunning
2.080m / 6.830ft peak, famous for its beauty and
exceptional views. If the time allows, those who wish to
summit the peak may do so (+1.5 hours). It's a steep and
physically demanding 800m | 1/2 mile climb on difficult
and slippery terrain, though, so I'd be waiting with my
pup at the foot).
Note 2: this is not a fast-paced hike, but an
enjoyable nature walk with time for photos and
contemplation, which is also suited for families with
older kids. Nonetheless, it is a proper mountain hike
over partially very rugged terrain, so appropriate
footwear is essential.
Duration: around 6.5-8 hours /
Price: 120€ per pers. (for groups, please inquire about
group discount)
Note 3:If you and your
partner are the only participants on the hike, an
additional private tour fee may be due (to be paid upon
meeting). Please ask.
