Impressive gorge with waterfalls,
rock tunnels and pools, caves, suspension bridges (one
of them is 60m/200ft long) and breathtaking landscapes
in the Sierra Nevada National Park. Great adventure, and
incredible scenery.
We traverse an impressive gorge along a mountain river
with waterfalls, rock tunnel, natural caves and pools,
hanging bridges and breathtaking landscapes.
Great adventure inmidst of incredible scenery.
In summer I recommend you wear
footwear that allow you to walk in the river (no
flip-flops or city-sandals, though!). During intense
heat waves we may stay in the canyon and skip the
beautiful, but less protected "mountain" part of the
hike, so the duration may vary depending on weather
conditions.
A bum-bag where you can fit a small
water bottle is all you need (we can refill in springs
and streams throughout the hike), rather than a bulky
backpack. Keep it light.
Please inquire about your dates if you don't see them
available (only Saturdays and bank holidays).
NOTE: This hike is suitable for most people, however,
there are spots where negotiating steep or difficult terrain and
low/narrow passages are involved. Also note that this
place is popular among locals (especially in summer), so
at least some section will likely not be an all solitary
mountain hike (which doesn't detract from its beauty,
though).
Duration: around 3 hours / Price:
45€ per pers. (for larger groups, please inquire about
group discount)
Note: If you and your partner are the
only participants on the hike, an additional private
tour fee may be due (to be paid upon meeting). Please
ask.
