True adventure deep in the bowels
of the Sierra Nevada National Park.
During the first part of our loop
hike we'll descend down to the bottom of a deep and
narrow canyon flanked by steep rock faces. There we
follow the river's course past waterfalls, across
swinging suspension bridges, through a rock tunnel/cave,
etc. (head-lamps are provided).
The second part is a beautiful mountain hike in the
moonshine/under the starry sky/milkyway, inmidst of
dramatic landscapes with breathtaking night views
(contrary to what people believe, it's not pitch-black
dark in the mountains at night, but beautiful and truly
awe-inspiring)
Do you sign up for the adventure?
NOTE: this hike requires
certain sure-footedness; the hike is not strenuous, but
the terrain is partially rough, and there's some
negotiating of low and/or narrow passages, suspension
bridges and downhill terrain involved. Footwear with
good traction is recommended.
A bum-bag where you can fit a small
water bottle is all you need (we can refill in springs
and streams throughout the hike), rather than a bulky
backpack. Keep it light.
Duration: around 3 hours / Price:
45€ per pers. (for larger groups, please inquire about
group discount)
Note: Because of the nature of
this hike it will only take place when there is a
minimum of 3 participants. If you're a single-person
booker and no one else joins, this activity will have to
be cancelled (you'd be fully refunded, of course).
